This is the third print in my Constellation series, and I’m very excited about how this one turned out! From Wikipedia: “The Cetus was a sea monster in Greek mythology which both Perseus and Heracles needed to slay. Cetus is in the region of the sky that contains other water-related constellations: Aquarius, Pisces and Eridanus.” I chose to represent Cetus as a humpback whale rather than a sea monster, because I find the idea of them swimming through the cosmos rather dreamy.
