For You

For You is the first linocut print that I made this summer, once my creativity came out of hiding after a grueling year of grad school! I absolutely fell in love with the dark surrealism motif, which you'll see in most of my recent prints.

As usual, this print started as a sketch on paper, which I then transferred to the linoleum to carve. Like all of my prints, it is inked and printed by hand on lightweight printmaking paper.
