Theatre

Theatre was a progression of ideas - I started out thinking of someone removing a mask from their face, to someone holding a mask, to the mask being a kabuki mask, and bam, there was my print. As you can see, I had to get my dark surrealistic flair in there!

As usual, this print started as a sketch on paper, which I then transferred to the linoleum to carve. Like all of my prints, it is inked and printed by hand on lightweight printmaking paper.

This print measures 10”x11”.
